So crazy.
More crazy is the fact that it's supposed to hit 59 degrees in Northeast Ohio today...I'm terrified that means it will snow into July HA!
Sunday night, I sat down with a few photos from the week and just began to play. I had bits of the brand new Dear Lizzy products on hand (due to the Feb. Studio Calico Daydream Believer kit + a trip to Archiver's), some new stamps and even a homemade embellishment from Allie...so I jumped right in.
Returned to the Design F style Project Life Page Protector this week...and got down to business. I love that I can make a 4x6 window just by splitting up a photo, like I did with the photo of Allie's dress. Definitely plan on doing that again.
Using the journaling cards I printed again from Marcy's shop, I love the 4x6 size for my 'this week was...' card that I've been including. I cut one of the jars from a Dear Lizzy paper, attached it to the edge of the 4x6 card and 'filled' it with confetti (leftovers from a punch lol) + the Pebbles sequins that were in an add-on from SC this month. I LOVE sequins...and the fact that these are self adhesive raised their awesomeness by 10%, lol. I stamped along the right side of the 4x6 card with the new SC/Hero Arts Days of the Week stamps with Tin Can Chalk Ink and added some new washi tape I received this week + an Ormolu tag I'd been hoarding. :)The grey card with the SC burst stamp features the embellishment Allie made for me, and on the yellow card next to it I asked her to write a few words...she added her 'Hollywood signature' after it. HAAAAAAAAAA.
The black framed 'Note' card is Ormolu as well...I just placed it onto a 3x4 card cut from another piece of Dear Lizzy paper and mounted a pic of her report card onto it...super simple. KRAFT washi tape? YES PLEASE. added it under the photo of her dress that is actually 4x4, but I cut it at 3 inches wide and added the remaining inch to a journal card so that it spanned 2 pockets...making it LOOK like 4x6 :)the two middle pockets in the bottom row go together as well...and the 'HA' word bubble I cut with my Cameo features a quote from my Twitter feed.

Again, not a super busy week for us (hallelujah, lol)...so I kept it pretty simple. One thing that I'm noticing on lots of PL posts are all of the receipts/business cards/bits that people are using...which i love, but I just don't have many of those i guess. They look cool though, and I'm keeping my eye out for stuff whenever we go somewhere.
In the end though, I think I'm kind of happy with just words + pics here and there of our days.
:)
