CK + Big Picture...Living the Dream Class :)

Creating Keepsakes has paired up with BPS for a fun 20-day class all about scrapbooking your dreams, and I would like to offer a spot to one blog reader in it for FREE!! Here is a tiny snippet of my project (as seen on the BPS class site...check it out for more info!):We each chose a different topic to use for our projects, so there are sure to be lots of different ways to interpret the theme of the class...something for everyone!

Here's a quick snippet on how it works:
First you'll receive ten days of inspirational emails that will give you a photo prompt and a journaling prompt. This will help you really think about what your dreams are, and where those dreams started. During the next ten days you'll receive a handout from each Dream Team teacher that will give you the instructions and inspiration to complete a layout that documents the different ways that you're living your dream.

Make sure you check the BPS Class Site for more details...you get LOTS of info in this one, and it's such a great value for $20!! Check it out:
  • Supply suggestions in each email (using supplies that you most likely have on hand)
  • 10 inspirational emails with photo and journaling prompts (one from each Dream Team member)
  • 10 colorful handouts with layout ideas and examples
  • 10 layout sketches, available as a PDF and a PSD layered template
  • Expert instruction and techniques to try on your layouts
  • A gallery full of additional layout inspiration from each Dream Team member
  • Welcome message and welcome audio from Jennafer Martin, Editor-in-Chief of Creating Keepsakes magazine

Please leave a comment here that mentions something you'd like to tackle in your scrapbooking...it could be anything from using your handwriting/journaling/use more photos/get caught up, you name it. I will draw a winner on Mon. June 4 and will forward your info on to the BPS Team (if your name happens to be drawn twice by any of us, a replacement will be selected...only 1 class per person).

LOTS of chances to win...check out these 2 blogs:

Again, check out the details on this one...it's going to be GREAT!!

  2. I'd would just love to get more layouts completed. I have to fit it all in around working fulltime and I think a class would be perfect. I wouldn't need to think about what to do, just do it!! ;)

  15. What a cool-sounding class! I'd love to bust my stash a bit further, and I'm also "dreaming" about finding the motivation to scan and scrap pictures from my childhood. Thanks! Hope life's good for you.

  17. Looks like so much fun... and maybe just what I need. I feel like I have a handle on a lot of things with the classes I've been taking lately, but I am loving all of the inspiration. I would love to be better at Titles... I love mixing fonts and colors and sizes, but I never know what words to use... especially in a contained book where the topic is pretty obvious.

  18. Thank you for this chance. I have some embossing folders but have not go around to using them yet so that is something I would like to get onto my layouts some time soon.

  19. Something I need to work on is getting the whole story documented. I journal on my layouts, sure, but never seem to be able to capture everything I want to tell.

  20. I want to document some of the 'old family stories' that I know (as the oldest sister) but my sibling doesn't remember. I only recently realised that she doesn't have these stories in her memory, and ever since I've felt the need to share them with the wider family.

  21. I would love to improve my skills on picking titles for my layouts other than "Fun with Friends" or something boring like that. I'd love to win a seat in this class! :)

  22. I've been pregnant, in school, mothering three other kids, lost a parent, had the baby and moved in the last 12 months and as a result, have done no scrapping for a year! I think about it every day, but need to just DO it sometime. I'm on the edge of being snowed under.

  23. I would love to be able to take less than a week to create a page. I need to be more decisive in the products I choose to put on the pages I create. I seem to spend lot of time moving embellishments to different spots. I NEED a spot in this class, please pick me.

  25. I'd love to get "caught up" on my scrapping, but I guess what I should really work on is taking less photos! :D Thanks for the chance to win a seat in what sounds like a great class!

  26. I'd love to get caught up. I was looking wistfully at my girls' baby pictures the other day thinking I really needed to scrap them. Of course I've been thinking this for a while as my oldest is nearly 21 now!

  27. Oh my! That's a pretty long list, but I would like to be much better in journaling. Or to be more ambitious, create my first double-pager! lol..

  28. Would like to incorporate more Silhouette Titles on my pages. Still learning about my Silhouette and all it can do.

  29. I would love to be inspired to scrapbook. I've made only 2 or 3 LO's this year!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'd just love to actually create a layout. Have supplies, have photos, have space, need a jump start! aka kick in the pants!

  31. Wow looks like so much fun and inspiration. I could really get a lot done in that time period. Thanks for your generosity too! Love the snippet of your project as well. Thanks for the chance!!

  32. What a fun class! I would love to do "better" journaling - you know more than "we went to the park today."

  33. There's a lot I need to focus on, but journaling is definitely where I suffer the most. I almost never have journaling on my layouts, and when I do, it's very dry (five W's) and unemotive. I could use some help in that department.

  34. I would love to take this exciting class. Thank you very much for the chance to win a seat, to be inspired by so many talented artists.

  35. This looks like such an awesome class! I just need to make the time and get busy with my kits. I have sooooo many kits I've hardly touched. It makes me feel guilty. I need to clear my schedule and allow myself to create!

  36. Cool class. I want to tackle consistency. I am an on again/off again scrapper. I really want to scrap consistently so working on that.
