these two photos crack me up whenever i look at them, lol...it was midnight L.A. time (thats right, 3AM for moi) and we had just finished our impromptu bowling/birthday celebration at Lucky Strike Lanes at L.A. Live. OF COURSE we should all attempt a 'KP Jumping photo', right? love that these girls took the time to take me completely by surprise so i could start my birthday off with tons of laughs...while surrounded by friends. you guys rock...
the KI die-cut paper from the Sunny Clearing add-on reminded me of clouds...but i just kind of plopped them down and liked how they looked lol. cut some strips from the SC Exclusive papers (as well as initials for everyone in the photo), used the top piece of the My Minds Eye die-cut from the Main Kit and took apart one of the KI 5x10" envelopes from the Babbling Brook addon to write my journaling on. also stamped one of the chipboard stars with the little woodgrain circle (from the Wildflower add-on) + some Powder Blue Zing...and used the Addy Numbers stamps from Sunny Clearing as well with some Leaf Green Zing.

how AWESOME is that bubbles/circles background stamp from the Babbling Brook add-on?! pair it with 4 colors of Zing and a few random punches of paper and it kind of stands out on its own...so i kept this one simple. i used the other half of the 5x10" KI envelope i destructed, paired with some NEW Lemonade Mister Huey (ALL of the new SC releases from CHA are now available at 2peas...including this mist!) and my Slice Handwritten cartridge (still 50% off at 2peas!) for the title.

this last one cracks me up.
it is proof that i am in limbo.
neither a country girl, nor a city slicker.
not quite comfortable in the country, and scared a bit of the BIG city.
i mean, i have the genes to be countrified.
my Dad was from Kentucky...grew up on a farm, etc.
but the execution just isn't there.
as evidenced by these photos Steph took last spring when we visited April & Greg's farm, lol.
so i figure i'll just own it.
i am SO not a country girl.

hope you enjoyed the gallery this month...have a great week!!
